To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer with experience in architecture and design to strengthen our multidisciplinary R&D team located in Venlo.

 

You’ll join a team designing high-tech electronic hardware — from concept to production. This includes AI based video processing hardware for our camera systems and motion control hardware for our Pan Tilt units and Gimbals for situational awareness in the security and defense industry. Your knowledge and creativity will play a key role in accelerating innovation and delivering prototypes and products that make a real impact.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, motion control engineers, system architect and project manager in cross-functional project team.

  • Translate system requirements into functional requirements and block diagrams following the V-model.

  • Selection of key components considering reliability, ruggedness, and obsolescence.

  • Design high-performance analog, digital and power circuits for our camera and motor control systems.

  • Build and test functional models and prototypes.

  • Verify, debug and refine the design for series production.

  • Provide technical expertise on MIL‑STD‑810 and MIL‑STD‑461, including interpretation of test methods, environmental/EMI design considerations, and verification of system readiness for qualification.

  • Ensure a smooth transition from proto to series production by early-stage DFM and DFT.

  • Apply best practices in signal and power integrity, EMC, and thermal design.

  • Document designs and deliver technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

You work well in multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly, and proactively think along about reliability, manufacturability, and future-proofing. You are curious, innovative, and motivated to develop technology that truly makes an impact.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience on requirements and circuit design.

  • Proven track record at each stage of the product development cycle.

  • Proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong focus on customer needs and high quality.

  • Experience with test automation (python) for hardware verification.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Strong team player with clear communication skills and a solution-driven attitude.

  • Affinity with outsourcing design activities and supervising EMS partners.

 

Nice-to-Have:

  • Hands-on experience with layout tools like OrCAD, Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.

  • Familiarity with high-precision BLDC motor control platforms & techniques and low-latency video processing platforms.
